~Cecelia : Child & Family Photography~

Wow, I feel like it's been a while since I've blogged!  We made it through winter (if you can call it winter by Michigan standards!), and now that spring is here, it's a beautiful time to get out and shoot!

Meet Cecelia.  You may remember her from a previous blog entry, when I shot her 6 month photos.  I love, love, love to photograph babies at different stages.  It is so amazing to watch them grow.  Cecelia is now a toddler (about 18 months at our recent session), and she is such a cutie and so sweet!  One thing I remembered about her 6 month photos was that she had the best smile.  I noticed the same adorable smile at our recent shoot...just with a lot more teeth!  :)  She is such a happy girl.

~Anna & Rebecca : Child Photography ~

Allow me to introduce two cuties:  Anna and Rebecca!  They are sisters, age 3 and 6, and we had a super fun photo session a few weeks ago.  The fall colors were just starting, yet there were still lots of flowers left from summer.  AND... we even had some fun playing in the creek.  A very well-rounded photo session.  :)

~Grace : Child Photography~

Meet Grace.  She recently celebrated her third birthday, and I had the pleasure of taking portraits to capture her 3-year-old cuteness!

Now, before I get any further, I have to mention this. As I was working on this blog post, I was listening to Pandora, and the song "Gracie" by Ben Folds just came on.  What are the odds?!  It stopped me in my tracks.  I haven't heard this song in a long time...it is such a beautiful song.  If you've never heard it, you should check it out.  Especially if you have children, it will make your eyes tear up for sure.

Now back to Grace's photo shoot.  When little Grace arrived, she ran up to me and said "I'm sooo excited to have my picture taken!!!"  I honestly don't think I've ever heard that before...HA!!  Let me tell you, that was music to my ears.  :)  We had so much fun at her session and got to soak up some end-of-summer warmth and sunlight.

~Harrison & Cole~

I recently had the pleasure of meeting these adorable guys, Harrison and Cole.  Harrison is 2.5 years old, and Cole just turned the big O-N-E!  We spent some time at the park doing some very important things like playing in the dirt, finding sticks/leaves, watching ducks, and of course, saying "cheeeese!"
