~Holiday Wishes & Little Tiny~

I wanted to take a quick moment to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and all the best in the new year.

Thanks to each and every one of you who has joined me on my photo journey in 2010. Whether you invited me into your life to photograph your family, child, wedding, etc...  Or whether you have simply taken a few seconds to check out my blog...thank you.  Balancing life, work, photography, and a new baby has been quite the challenge...so please know that all the support, encouragement and kind comments I receive are hugely appreciated!

Speaking of that little baby who keeps me sooo busy, Violet (aka Little Tiny), I thought this would be the perfect time to share some recent photos of her!!

~Avery & Emerson~

I recently had the pleasure of meeting two beautiful sisters:  Avery & Emerson.  Big sister, Avery, is 2 1/2 years old.  Baby sister, Emerson, was just 3 months old at the time of our session.  They were little angels during our photo shoot, despite the chilly weather.  Check out some of my favorites, below...

Allow me to introduce Ezra James, better known as E.J.  He is son of my very good friend, Courtney, and he recently had his 6-month birthday.  We got together for a quick "mini-session" to capture some photos of this very handsome little guy.  He is such a happy boy, as you will see in the photos.  Check out a couple of my favorite shots, below!

~Averie, Nathen, Julia & Family~

I met Averie about a year ago when she was just over 1 year old.  She was absolutely adorable and full of energy...I could barely keep up with her!!  I was so excited when Averie's mom contacted me again to shoot her 2 year pictures.  She is even more adorable now!  

I also had the pleasure of meeting Averie's cousins, Nathen & Julia.  As you will see below, the cuteness runs in the family!  

It was a chilly day, but you wouldn't know how cold it was by looking at the pictures.  These little ones (and their parents) were troopers.  Check out some of my favorite images from our shoot, below!

Meet Trey...he's turning one year old!  To celebrate the occasion, we got together on a beautiful autumn day for some pictures.  Trey has the most amazing blue eyes!  See for yourself, below, in some of my favorite images from our session.

~Ethan~

Meet Ethan.  We spent the afternoon at the park for some fun and a 9 month photo session.

Ethan is a very special little guy because, not only is he incredibly adorable, but he is the son of my very good friend, Jennifer.  I've known Jennifer since our elementary school days.  She was 5 and I was 8, but we didn't let the age difference stop us from becoming buddies.  I have so many fun memories of that time in my life.  One that comes to mind is sliding down the stairs in a laundry basket at her house (in case her parents are reading this, I'm sure her brothers were behind that).  :)

As we got older, we lost touch, as people often do when they move on to college, careers, etc.  But then, as fate would have it, we ran into each other at the annual Zoo-de-Mack in northern Michigan.  As it turns out, we lived within a few miles of each other.

It has been so great reconnecting with my long, lost buddy...and even greater getting to know her little guy, Ethan. There's something so amazing about your friend having a child.  You see part of them in this new, little person.  

I'm excited to share a few of my favorite images from Ethan's 9 month session.  We lucked out with an absolutely gorgeous fall day.  And, as I warned you earlier, he is incredibly adorable!
