~Cecelia : Child & Family Photography~

Wow, I feel like it's been a while since I've blogged!  We made it through winter (if you can call it winter by Michigan standards!), and now that spring is here, it's a beautiful time to get out and shoot!

Meet Cecelia.  You may remember her from a previous blog entry, when I shot her 6 month photos.  I love, love, love to photograph babies at different stages.  It is so amazing to watch them grow.  Cecelia is now a toddler (about 18 months at our recent session), and she is such a cutie and so sweet!  One thing I remembered about her 6 month photos was that she had the best smile.  I noticed the same adorable smile at our recent shoot...just with a lot more teeth!  :)  She is such a happy girl.

Below are a few of my favorite images.  Enjoy!

Thank you Teresa, Wayne & Cecelia for letting me document your beautiful family once again!  Can't wait to hear all about your newest munchkin.  Congratulations and best of luck!!  ~Denise

~Michelle : Senior Portraits~

Meet Michelle. We shot her senior portraits at Bowers School & Farm in Bloomfield Hills (a very cool place that I had never been before). It was a very brisk and wintery day. I think we were all frozen by the end! Michelle did an awesome job wouldn't know from any of the pictures how cold she was. Thanks for being such a trooper, Michelle! Below are some of my favorite images from our session. Enjoy!

Lovely Michelle

I loved this cool little rustic building (and especially loved how it perfectly matched her boots!)

Michelle has the most beautiful brown eyes!

We found this little spot with some tall grass in the background and the sun lit it up so beautifully...

I just love the sparkly background!  Perfect backdrop for this beautiful girl :)

Favorite shot...hands down!

Thanks again to Michelle and her mom for being troopers and braving the elements with me.  I had a great time shooting these portraits, and I hope you love them!!  Thanks to everyone for stopping by.  ~Denise

~Katie & Danny : Wedding Photography~

I’m very excited to share the images below from Katie & Danny’s big day! You might remember the happy couple from their engagement pictures, which I posted a few months ago. (Check out their engagement photos here).

Katie & Danny were married on October 22, 2011 in Dearborn, Michigan, and they couldn’t have had a more beautiful day! The day was filled with sunshine, laughter, tears (of joy) and lots of FUN. They had a lovely and touching ceremony followed by an awesome reception (and by awesome, I mean the dance floor was packed the moment the music started). The most beautiful part of their day, however, was the love that Katie & Danny so obviously have for one another. They are a natural fit, and it's clear they are meant to be together.

So, without further ado, let's get to the pictures! Also, I have to give a big thanks to Emily Hutson for co-shooting with me (great job as usual!).
