~Harrison & Cole~

I recently had the pleasure of meeting these adorable guys, Harrison and Cole.  Harrison is 2.5 years old, and Cole just turned the big O-N-E!  We spent some time at the park doing some very important things like playing in the dirt, finding sticks/leaves, watching ducks, and of course, saying "cheeeese!"

Summer Solstice!

Summer is finally here!  It seems like it took forever to get here this year.  And as everyone's schedules start to book up, it's easy to feel like it's already half over.  This year, I'm committed to savoring every moment of summer to make it last as long as possible.

Step One:  Get outside to enjoy some of the gorgeous flowers that are blooming around me!  I captured a few shots with my new macro lens that I am in LOVE with.

This is my little buddy, Kaiden. You might remember him from his 3 month shoot. I recently shot his 9 month photos, and he is getting to be so big! Not to mention, he was ON THE GO! He has a great little commando-style crawl (he is fast!) and he really liked showing off his standing skills. He even threw in an extra special pose which you will see below, in addition to many more favorites!  If you're curious where we shot these, we were at the beautiful Butterfly House at the Detroit Zoo.  A great place for photos when it's raining cats & dogs outside (which it was the day of our photo shoot)!!
