~Michelle : Senior Portraits~

Meet Michelle. We shot her senior portraits at Bowers School & Farm in Bloomfield Hills (a very cool place that I had never been before). It was a very brisk and wintery day. I think we were all frozen by the end! Michelle did an awesome job though...you wouldn't know from any of the pictures how cold she was. Thanks for being such a trooper, Michelle! We found this little spot with some tall grass in the background and the sun lit it up so beautifully...

~Katie & Danny : Wedding Photography~

I’m very excited to share the images below from Katie & Danny’s big day! You might remember the happy couple from their engagement pictures, which I posted a few months ago. (Check out their engagement photos here).

Katie & Danny were married on October 22, 2011 in Dearborn, Michigan, and they couldn’t have had a more beautiful day! The day was filled with sunshine, laughter, tears (of joy) and lots of FUN. They had a lovely and touching ceremony followed by an awesome reception (and by awesome, I mean the dance floor was packed the moment the music started). The most beautiful part of their day, however, was the love that Katie & Danny so obviously have for one another. They are a natural fit, and it's clear they are meant to be together.

So, without further ado, let's get to the pictures! Also, I have to give a big thanks to Emily Hutson for co-shooting with me (great job as usual!).

~Laura & Jay : Wedding Photography~

Laura and Jay were married on October 15, 2011, in beautiful Sutton's Bay, Michigan.  The day started with lots of rain, but by the time the ceremony got started, the skies cleared and it turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous day!  We were able to get outside and capture some of those beautiful fall colors that northern Michigan is famous for.

Laura and Jay, and their entire bridal party, were so much fun!  We had a blast galavanting around the Traverse City area with this crew.

I want to give a quick shout out to my partner in crime, Emily Hutson, who made the trek north to shoot this wedding with me.  A huge thanks to her for all the wonderful images she helped capture!
