~Kirsten : Senior Portraits~

I am beyond excited to share this post with you!!  I recently had my first opportunity to do senior portraits, and I am SO happy with how they turned out.

The subject of these photographs, the lovely Kirsten, made my job incredibly easy.  As you will see below, she is just gorgeous, with amazing eyes and a beautiful smile.  And after spending just a couple hours with her, I could tell that Kirsten is just as beautiful on the inside.  She was so fun to work with, and I truly enjoyed every minute of our session.  She was a trooper too...you wouldn't know it from the pictures, but it was actually quite COLD that day!  I'm so glad we shot when we did though, as we were able to capture some great fall colors.

Below are a few of my favorite images.  It was really hard to narrow these down...I seriously could not take a bad picture of Kirsten.  ;)  Enjoy!

absolutely beautiful : kirsten

smiling or serious...either way she looks amazing!

a little attitude :)

i wasn't sure if we'd get many fall colors, as our session was early in the season.
then we walked onto this bridge, and we hit the jackpot!

such a great smile

aren't her eyes just amazing!?

i always appreciate a little comic relief from the sidelines.
kirsten's mom, lisa, did an awesome job getting kirsten to laugh :)

couldn't forget about the varsity jacket!

hands-down, absolute, top favorite.  gorgeous!!

Kirsten and Lisa...thank you SO much for choosing me to capture these images.  I had so much fun, and I hope you did too!  Enjoy your photos!!  ~Denise

~Anna & Rebecca : Child Photography ~

Allow me to introduce two cuties:  Anna and Rebecca!  They are sisters, age 3 and 6, and we had a super fun photo session a few weeks ago.  The fall colors were just starting, yet there were still lots of flowers left from summer.  AND... we even had some fun playing in the creek.  A very well-rounded photo session.  :)

Below are a few of my favorite images.  Enjoy!

rebecca made my job SO easy.  she was a great little model.

anna was a little trickier to catch (as 3 year olds often are!).  but when she stopped for a second,
i was able to capture some beautiful images, like this one!

A huge thanks to Rebecca, Anna, and their parents, Wendy & Robert, for a fun photo session.  I hope you love your images...I sure had fun capturing them!!

~Laura & Chase : Wedding Photography (Part One!!)~

This past July, I had the honor of documenting Chase & Laura's wedding in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  It was a gorgeous (and very toasty!!) summer day.

Chase & Laura are probably the most adorable couple I have ever met.  They are SO nice and fun to be around.  They are also incredibly laid back, which made shooting their wedding an absolute pleasure. Seriously...I love these two!

I am so excited to finally share some photos from their big day.  I decided to break this up into two posts, because I simply could not narrow things down!

I also want to mention that the wonderful Sarah Barthlow helped me on this shoot...a big thanks to Sarah for all the amazing shots she captured.

With no further delay, please enjoy Part One from Chase & Laura's wedding day.  More to come in just a couple days!

the day started at First Congregational Church, Ann Arbor, Michigan
